Scope

700,000 SF

Vista Center is a proposed 700,000 SF LEED Platinum office building adjacent to the train station in Trenton, New Jersey.

The site is contiguous to the train station head house, providing easy access to the station for building tenants. The building's mass is oriented to maximize the southern and northern exposure. 

 

 

 

 

While the tower's curtain wall is predominately glass, each facade is treated differently depending on solar orientation. Sun shades on both the south and west facades provide shade and reduce glare and heat gain inside the offices.

 

 

 

 

 

A restaurant, coffee shop and the office lobby are on the ground floor fronting the street. A seven level 1,050 car parking garage is connected to the office building. The precast garage steps down the hill towards the tracks and is not visible from the street.
