Scope

27,300 SF Dining and Servery Renovation

Coscia Moos Architecture partnered with their food service consultant Xcelerated Concepts to renovate the outdated T-Dubs Dining Hall located between the high-rise Travers & Wolfe Residence Halls.

The dining hall was originally an interior space partitioned on three sides with limited visibility to the exterior. Replacing these partitions with new glass storefronts created a transparency to the exterior while maintaining the necessary security barriers between the servery, dining and circulation areas.

The dining and servery areas were given an overall refresh with the result being a hip and open place where students come to congregate between classes, or to linger after a meal to study or socialize in an open and inviting setting.

Coscia Moos Architecture has completed similar projects at many universities around the US in conjunction with a food service consultant.
